A story about David Dickinson
I met David Dickinson about 6 years ago at an “antique fair” in Bradford UK.
Some friends and I thought it would be funny to go along and ‘mingle’ with some lovely biddies – and see if we could get some ‘jingles’/’voxpops’ for our radio show.
When he walked in, i just remember being absolutely astounded by how tall this man is!!
Yes – in real life, he still looks exactly as if he has walked straight out of an American shopping channel, in his immaculately tailored suit, and with his vibrant – orange – glow!
We spoke to him for quite some time, and he is SUCH a gent and very comical!! Basically exactly the same as on TV, but somewhat cheekier!
He had time for everyone, and we got some excellent clips recorded. He even told me the history behind those colourful glasses.
